I have worked with kids that have autism for the past 2 years. I
also worked with my brotto graduate next May with my BA in English, along with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education.
I currently work with families on an individual basis, as a ABA/VB therapist. I have her, Matthew, on a varied basis for the
course of three years. He has autism and is now ten years old. I am an undergraduate student at George Mason Unversity, and
am planning designed a basic starter ABA program for one of my clients, but am not qualified to design complex curriculum
yet. My usual job is to implement a curriculum laid out by an individual/organization that is qualified to do so. I have attended
two training workshops on ABA, worked with a variety of experienced professionals and organizations, and have been involved
with the autistic community since I first became aware of it, seven years ago when my brother Matthew was diagnosed.
